FAQs Top 5
When do I hand over the rights of my posting?
You handover the intellectual property rights to the receiving organization when you post a challenge pitch or an innovative idea, thus giving the receiving organization the unrestricted right to use and disclose any of the posted materials. This may sound a bit scary, but is normal practice. As other companies may receive the same ideas or may freely copy unpatented ideas, most companies are unwilling to accept any restrictions on postings, except for claims arising under patents.
Why is my posting visible on the Fellow Forum?
In general all postings will be visible on the Fellow Forum, allowing you and other fellows to collaborate (promote, rate and comment). In the event the receiving organization will close the challenge or the innovation box, postings will not be visible in the Fellow Forum. In those cases only the receiving organization can view your postings. It is also possible that the receiving organization takes your posting of the Fellow Forum. This can happen when they find it such a good posting that they do not want to share it with anybody.
Does Fellowforce take a commission from my reward fee?
The reward money is 100% yours. We do not take any charge or commission from your reward fee.
Who can see my personal information?
Nobody other than Fellowforce administrators can view your personal details. However, by submitting your Posting, you as a Fellow agree that your contact information can be given to the receiving or challenging organization if requested. This can happen in the event of a reward payment, or if the receiving or challenging organization wants to recruit you. Your personal details will never be sold or rented to third parties for marketing or any other purposes.
Where can I see the status of my postings?
You can see the status of your posting under My Fellowforce in the top menu. There are 5 status categories:
1) In spam check: all postings are checked for spam
2) New: new posting for the receiving organization
3) Follow-up: your posting is now in the next round of review.
4) Reject: your posting is rejected by the receiving company.
5) Reward: you will receive a reward notification by email.
